Randy was born and raised in Rensselaerville, NY and for 20 years was a member of the HR team at Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. in Albany. In April 2024, he left CDPHP to become the Executive Director at a nonprofit he has known for over 45 years.
When he was 19, his mother died of Ovarian Cancer. To continue in her footsteps, and keep her memory alive, Randy began financially supporting and volunteering at nonprofit organizations that were important to her.
Twenty-two years after her death, Randy formalized the Tryon Family Foundation in 2020 to memorialize his mom and share the unique and deep-rooted history of the Tryon Family.
Dan was born and raised in Upstate, New York and for the past 24 years has worked for the State of New York. It was not until meeting Randy in 2011, that Dan’s interest in not-for-profit organizations began. As his interest evolved, he began working with Randy on his philanthropic endeavors and was instrumental in the creation of the Tryon Family Foundation in 2020.
Isabel is the Executive Director of the Westchester County Bar Association. She has worked hard to rebuild the organization’s stature in our legal community and has grown membership and programming.
Isabel’s background is in film, with a degree from New York University that led to a career in nonprofit management, marketing/communications, and community relations.
Craig grew up in Germantown, NY, but after several years away, he moved back to New York in 2012 to be closer to family and friends. Craig is a Lead QA Analyst for a software company in Albany.
In 2014, Craig began his philanthropic endeavors with the Alexander and Marjorie Hover Foundation based in Germantown. Craig then joined the Friends of Clermont board in 2020. Giving back to the local communities and learning more about the area is what drives Craig.
Michael is originally from Oklahoma and after attending college, and subsequently living in Dallas for 22 years, he moved to New York to be closer to family. After getting adjusted, he began looking for ways to learn about and give back to the local community. He now serves on two other not-for-profit boards, including The Alexander and Marjorie Hover Foundation and the Friends of Clermont.
In addition to volunteering, Michael enjoys reading, playing in the garden, traveling, and Olive and Maggie, his four-legged fury children.
Erin is an Enterprise Training Consultant at Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. in Albany, NY. With over 35 years of Medical Insurance experience, she enjoys using her training skills to contribute to the success of all new and existing employees within the organization.
Erin’s passions include art, music (all types), film, home interior, gardening, and stand-up comedy. In addition, she has a strong passion and commitment to animal welfare. Her goal is to protect and speak for a population that has no voice.
